Subject: Imm to Canada through another country
Hi there!

I´m currently a student on visa in the US. Does anyone know if it´s possible to immigrate to Canada without incovenient trip back to the country of residence. Can the whole process (including interview) go through Canadian embassy in the US.

thanks beforehand

Hi smn,

to be more clear for you,any person who has lived for atleast 1 year in a particular country can apply for immigration from that country. If you are in US since 2005 oct you are eligible to apply for immigration to canada from US.
