Subject: Immigration Canada trying to get in touch
  Dear all,

Our application was submitted to the London office in January 2006. Last week someone from Immigration Canada contacted my wife´s aunt in Toronto, leaving a message saying they have been trying to get in touch with me, but without success. Hence, since she was listed in our application they wanted her to tell me that I should call them back. They left a number, however, the quality of the automatic message was unclear and we were not able to get the number down.

We are currently in South Asia due to my work and I notified London a while back of our move and I believe also giving them our telephone number. The address on e-cas reflects our current address.

I sent a fax to London on thursday, listing all of our phone numbers.

I don´t have a clue why they want to talk to me...does anyone have ideas? It is still early on in our application...

Thanks a lot and look forward hearing from you all

m

Have the Aunt call the Embassy and ask for the consular section because of her status. The aunt should inform them of the phone call and that she was unclear of the num,ber or name left on her machine.

You should send them an e-mailwith your new contact information keeping the e-mail to point form because they will not read a long winded e-mail.

Relax all will be okay unless you have been in this country too long so they are asking for proof of no convictions were you currently reside.

There is no reason for the aunt to call the embassy, if so, which embassy and what status. I faxed London with my contact information. Hope they will get in touch soon.
thanks

If it is early on in your application then you probably made a mistake in your application.
