Hello
I want to know what´s going on with my application, I know how to check E-CAS status online, it says (in process) and I am tired of reading that for last 1 year now
Is there any other way to know what´s going on, I have applied at Buffalo under skilled worker category

Ordering CAIPS Notes (Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System) would be an alternative to e-CAS AFTER the initial assessment, but I doubt it makes any sense to order the CAIPS Notes at a pre-IA stage.
If you need info on ordering CAIPS Notes, do an Internet search. A person residing in Canada can order the CAIPS Notes for you, or you can find a plethora of companies on the Internet to offer such services for pocket change.
FYI, it takes about 1 year until a Buffalo skilled worker PR application reaches the initial assessment level. If you have been waiting for about one year so far, then hopefully, you are as close as it gets to IA.

I guess I can tell you, based on other people´s statistics, that your application is probably waiting in the queue to be assessed by a CIC officer.
What is your AOR date?

What is the diference between AOR and initial assessment?
I have received my AOR letter (08Jan.2007) with the case file #Bxxx from Buffalo.
Is initial assessment actualy the date when the status of my case appeared on e-Cas "in process" or will be the date when I will receive further instructions?
