hi everyone! angel here, from philippines. I have a canadian boyfriend whom i met online and we want to spend time together this christmas and hopefully get married after awhile.Im now applying for temporary resident visa which i submitted last nov.15, 2006. My boyfriend and i are quite nervous and anxious of what will be the result since we heard a lot if people had been denied. I just wanna seek some insights from u there. Do i have a big chance the i can get visa? I have submitted certificate of employment which states i still have a job when i im bank here, a bank statement but only shows 60k pesos and credit cards as my proof of funds, a police clearance,a round trip ticket, a private medical insurance and of course a letter of invitation from his parents ( in the letter of invitation, it states there that it is his mom whom i met online, became close friends and we dont talk that i have a canadian boyfriend waiting for me there) so i hope this will help. Does my papers strong enough to be able to get VISA? I will really appreciate any advices, stories and any insights regarding this matter. Thank you!

hi angel !! i am so interested from your post. We have the same problem & i was rejected to have a canadian visa. Please let me know whats goin on with your application ok.
