There are several things going before a person can be granted a PR of a country. When you get PR for Canada it means that Canada is willing to take responsibility of that persons acts.
Now I mean no disrespect but taking a totally hypothetical situation in current times; CIC has to ensure that it is not a terrorist organization trying to get members into the country.
Similar for criminals. What if one were to commit murder or other horrible cimes in one country and gets married and gets a quick PR? How will other country ever prove that person criminal?
Mind you CIC barely does 2 main checks for spouse case - Medicals and Background Check. I feel when you sponsor someone you may be sure about that person; but the society at large has a right to know that as well.
Look at other cases - such as Sharon; she has been patiently waiting for her spouse for as long as I have been on this forum (5 months I believe).
Believe me there is no prejeduice against your spouse; I´m sure in due course your case will go through. If however there are serious doubts on medicals or security then I can´t say. I mean what else will the prime minister say? Even he can´t break the law of the land.
Please answer:
1. Is there any serious legal issue against you or your spouse?
2. Any serious medical issue?
3. Can you prove beyond doubt that you are married or intend to marry?
4. Is your spouse professionally or academically qualified?
5. Can you sponsor him finacially or is he going to ask for govt. benifits?
There are several questions which CIC has to look into before they can find your case eligible.
If you can´t wait:
1. You can fly to him in the U.S.
2. Have him fly to interior Canada (where they have not already stopped you).
3. Or you can fly to a 3rd country and wait till your case gets over.
No offense; but I guess you have not been able to make your case on the forum. If I were the immigration officer I´d stop you as well. So please prove your case and I´d be willing to sign on your behalf.
