  Hi friends,

I had applied to Buffalo in June 2005 and recvd AOR dated 15 July 2005. I left Canada in July 2005 itself; my acquaintance in Canada got a letter in August end 2006 from CIC Buffalo, saying your Initial Assessment is complete and you will informed about your Interview soon, with no mention of Medicals. I have not heard anything from CIC Buffalo since then.

After returning back to my country in July 2005 I had started working but have not informed CIC about it. Anybody has any suggestions or comments???

Look forward to your inputs...Thanks!

Just to add to the above info.

I was asked for IELTS in August 2005, I gave it in Sept 2005 with a score of 7.5. I had given IELTS the address of CIC Buffalo for reporting of the scores. But should I also have sent a personal copy to them ??

Even though the CIC´s letter informing of the IA said - do not send any docs till the Interview, now I am planning to send CIC Buffalo my job offer (notarized copy) + IELTS score (notarized copy) along with a cover letter asking for the Interview date. Let me know your thoughts ...Thanks!

I believe you will have to bring the original docs when you attend interview. I haven´t received my IA letter, but they sent me a letter of invitation for me to be present on the interview in LA. Seems like everyone has treated differently, depending on the officer´s mood.
The interview date will be scheduled within 1-5 months. mine was 4 months. just be patient.

Hi SS,

Thanks for your response. So you got the Interview letter in August 06 informing you of the Interview in December 06?

Just one more thing- where are you currently residing and where were you at the point of application? I had completed my degree in Canada and then applied for Immigration.

Cheers!
