We also submitted our application without an employment contract, simply because I didn´t have a contract per se. As long as the reference letter lists your job responsibilities, your salary and the period of employment everything should be fine. Our application was accepted this way and we are currently awaiting IA.

Good Luck!

please tell me what did you exactly say to immigration official for this issue?did you just say "I don´t have any contract for my employment" and they accepted it?

Thank you so much for your attention.

Parham.

Parham,

I did not say anything to anyone (yet). I sent the reference letter from my current employer stating what my responsibilities are, my salary and that my employment started on date A and continues till present date. In addition, I submitted a fresh paystub in original and a copy of the latest W2 form.

All my previous jobs were also without a contract. Though I was on payroll and officially employed, I never had to sign any contract. For these jobs I only submitted signed reference letters from my employers. Nothing more.

I was also self-employed for a few years, and for that time I have written a letter (signed by me as the President of the corporation), again stating the same details as listed above: period of employment, salary, job responsibilities.

I have no idea whether this is sufficient or not, but nobody has complained so far. I will know much more when my application will be assessed by an immigration officer.

Good Luck!
