I´ve been in England for 19 of my allowed 24 months on a working holiday maker visa and plan on comming home in the next month. but I havnt even worked since i´v been here. I was taken care of by my partners family and my partner has supported me. and when I went to look for a job once most of my money was spent enjoying being in a new country i was pregnant and i´m sure it lead to jobs turned down because they knew I´d only be on for a little while so what will happen when I return to Canada with a British child and no work on my working holiday maker visa??

If you are a Canadian go to the Canadian Embassy register the birth of your bundle of Joy and get him/her a Canadian passport/citizenship!

It appears from your posting your a PR. The fact that you got a holiday visa by the UK and did not comply to their rules is irrelevant upon your return.

If you have only been out of the country for 19 months how long have you been in the country in the last five years?

Your child is a whole other matter you will have to sponsor your child upon return if your a Permanent Resident.

Cheers Roy,
Right, well we registered baby as british, lady said we had to since she was born here, but I was informd i should fill out a form from cic.gc.ca http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/canada-europa/united_kingdom/embassy5-1-en.asp , so that way she can have dual. is that correct?

I´m not a PR, i dint think, i´ve never resigtered to be one anyways. I want to come back home to Canada ASAP once we get babys passport/dual citizenship sorted.

I´ve been in Canada all five years but the last 19 months.
