| Subject: Sharon/Uniden - I sent more money for my app fee |

Hi Uniden and Sharon,
The bank draft that I sent with my app was a few dollars more than the required fee. I could not find the right amount in US dollars when I submitted my application and now I am afraid they will return my app. What are the chances that they will keep it and refund the extra money to me?

Was it much more than the amounts listed in this link? How many $$ are "a few"?

I don´t think a few dollars more would matter. Someone came to this forum not too long ago with the paid amount being much more than the fee and the aplication got returned by CIC because of the substantial amount being overpaid. I guess it depends on the immigration officer. It would be worse if the amount was not sufficient.
Keep us posted and let us know by how much exactly you have overpaid.

I just wanted to post an update. It appears that they process your payment and keep your application if everything is complete on the application and you have not overpaid more than five dollars.
