Subject: Got Married.... now WHAT??
We have read through dozens of responses here but I still need answers.

I am a Canadian citizen while he is an Indian citizen and we need to file for immigration to Canada.

Somebody told us that we do not need a lawyer as it is a simple case but we need an expert to clarify it for us. We are living together and dont really mind living separately while his immigration documents get processed.

What should we do?

1. Do we file from here or India?
2. Could you provide me with a link to the correct forms site?
3. An expert opinion on the process.

Thank you
Anita.

Anita first thing you probably need is to get laid as much as possible. I bet both of you were sexually deprived till marriage so go to your room and have another load of love. Once you are done with that part, just fill the sponsorship forms and you need no attorneys. Good luck.

So he is here? Legal or Illegal which makes a difference in which forms you use. Inside is not the way to go regardless of status.

Check the processing times outside Canada and add about 43 days to approve you as a sponsor. Absolute best way to go is outside of Canada. Normally for Indian citizens about four months total processing.
