| Subject: part time work whilst on a work visa |
hi there, im was wondering if anybody know if its possible to have a part time job aswell as the one i came to canada for. Im over on a skilled working visa for 3 years and was wondering if i can earn a few extra pennies at weekend for xmas.

Your work permit states whom you are authorized to work for.
According to Professor Reitz article Globe & Mail there are approximately 400,000 - 600,000 undocumented workers in Canada.
The chance of you getting caught between now and Christmas is extremely low but I did not tell you it was okay.
