Subject: Canadian Perm. Residents give birth to baby in US
  Hi
My wife and me are Canadian Perm. Residents. We got our PR cards in september 2006. We are living outside Canada rights now. I am working in USA. We are planing to go back to canada in April 2007 and my wife is having our baby in March 2007. We want our child to be born in US, because he will have US citizinship.
We will go to canada by our car.
Please suggect how we can bring our baby from US to canada with us, what paper work do we need for him? US birth certificate? What status he will have in canada? How he can get PR? Would he be eligible for medical insurance?
Please suggest all the ways.
Thanks

I´m having same situation but there is no issue if baby born in US because on their US Passport they can live in Canada for 6 month with out any visa and in 6 months they can get their PR.

All the Best

Tom is right dependent children have the fastest processing times but the PR must be residing in Canada to sponsor a dependent or spouse.
