Subject: Are Taxes applicable for PR living outside Canada
I am a Permanent resident living and working outside Canada on a 2 year contract.I wish to know if I am liable to pay/file for taxes.

Any input shall be highly appreciated.

Yes, you have to declare all your world-wide income. If you are deducted taxes at source (i.e. the country you´re working from) check to see if there is a Tax Treaty between that country and Canada as there´ll be tax credits applied so that you´re not paying taxes twice on the same income.
