Roy: please give me some advise.
I came to Canada on a work visa to get some training. I got married to a Canadian Citizen. We have filed in Canada sponsorship today. I am told by the Toronto immigration office that if I do not get the first stage approval by May 30, I need to get Visitor visa or I will become illigal. I was reading the web site, I understood that if I applied for permanent residence via " in canada sposorship, I will have implied status and my work visa will continue.Shuld I apply for Visitor´s visa if I do not get the first stage approval by May 30
What is your advise?

(in reply to: married while on work visa) I assume that you filed an In Status spousal sponsorship application. Hopefully you really tried hard to prove your relationship.
Did any of his friends write how he is a changed person etc. etc. since you came into his life. Tons of photos of the two of you laughing together instead of sharing a piece of cake etc.
Click on the form In Canada to visit/work/study and apply to change your status. Even if they don´t approve it will make very little difference. Being out of status will not make you inadmissable.
