Subject: should i apply now or wait till june?
Fellas, what do you recommend I do in this situation.
In about 6 months I will have two full year experience which will finally get me enough points to apply. My question is, after reading about how slow the whole process is and how long it can take, should I just go ahead and apply now (without submitting enough support documents regarding my experience), knowing that by the time I am to be asked for the interview, I will be well on my way?
Or should I just loose 6 months and wait untill june, and once everyting is ready, fresh and clean, mail the complete application and supporting docs, hoping not to even deal with the interview?
How much, if any, time does a person save if the ´interview is waived´?
Can the first approach end up hurting me, i.e entire application gets denied or something?
What are your thoughts?
Thanks,
mirza

No, you can begin process if you have confidence that your job will continue at the same position and place.

CIC always asks for re-submission of docs at later stage and one of them is letter of work experience at current place of employment.

Getting interview waiver is only possible when it is beyond the possibility of doubt that additional points from interview will make any difference.

So you have 2 options : wait and possible get interview waiver or apply now and not waste 5 months or possible change in rules.
