Subject: Health Care For Pregnant Wife
I am moving to Toronto, Ontario from the States next month. My American wife was just approved for sponsored permanent residence status in Canada. Is it true that there is a 90 day wait before either of us can recieve healthcare? She is 3 months pregnant and we would like for her to be able to be seen by someone during those 90 days. Is there any way we can do that? Do we have to pay out of pocket?

Yes, this is true. You wil have to pay out of pocket. The only thing you can do is move to Alberta which doesn´t have the 90 day wait limit!
