I´ve just sent away for my daughters dual citizenship via www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/canada-europa/united_kingdom/embassy5-1-en.asp
She was born in England and I´m Candaian. I´m planning to go home to Canada quite soon with her, but to save on time, because it says her application can take 6-8 weeks, can i apply for a British passport now while the dual application form is in the works? and then get a Canadian passport when we´re in Canada and have the papers with her dual citizenship?

Should have gone directly to the Embassy walked in and demanded to see a Canadian employee NO Brit and get it done then and now but yes to your question.
