Subject: about those bears!
front page of today´s Vancouver Sun (largest newspaper) - picture of 3 bears in someone´s front yard eating the seeds out of the bird feeder. Why this is so unusual is not that there are bears in the front yard - but that these bears should be hibernating for the winter.

ANONYMOUS - take note.

2010 Winter Olympics

Now that Vancouver will be hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics, these are some questions people the world over are asking! Believe it or not, these questions about Canada were posted on an International Tourism Website (frightening). Obviously the answers are a joke; but the questions were really asked!

Q. I have never seen it warm on Canadian TV, so how do the plants grow? (UK)
A. We import all plants fully grown and then just sit around and watch them die.

Q. Will I be able to see Polar Bears in the street? (USA)
A. Depends on how much you´ve been drinking.

Q. I want to walk from Vancouver to Toronto; can I follow the Railroad tracks? (Sweden)
A. Sure, it´s only four thousand miles; take lots of water.
.... there were many more like this

Funny!!! :)))
The answers (maybe even the questions!) are guaranteed a joke.

To continue the tradition of Donna´s questions and answers..

Q. Is it true that 3 bears were seen eating bird seeds out of a bird feeder in a Vancouver residential area in the winter? How come the bears were not hibernating?
A. Yes, it is true! The bears were eating the seeds of the hibernating birds.

ever heard a term called "Canadian rules"????

canadian rules 2 up, 15 down

While in High School in Buffalo, NY - wew used the terms "canadian rules" to indicate to others that whatever was going to happen next would not discussed with anyone back in the USA. There is a certain amount of protocol - in that you have to call it in advance.

While dropping your spunk on a Canadian´s nose - you would call "canadian rules" so that your girls in the US would never hear about it.
