Hi Ozz,
Your posts are the most interesting ones I read here. If you wish to communicate with my U.S. husband, just write me a little email and I´ll give you his email address...
I prefer to not publish anymore here what I know...most of the poeple on planet earth are ignorant and are relying on their ignorance to speak...not very strong:-)

If all Canadian spouses who see themselves separated from their partner had a little bit of you in their guts, then the policymaking process would offer a spark of hope for changing the current system. I think the spouse class is quite unique due to the sentimental ties. At the heart of immigration policy is family reunification; therefore, this cases should be dealt with in a completely different manner by making the process more expeditous.
Unfortunately, most Canadians, including my wife, prefer the "wait-and-let-things-happens" way. Unless there is a sign that the process is not totally correct, the policymakers in Ottawa will continue with the same immigration policy. If I were Canadian, I would be fighting a huge battle. Unfortunately, I?m just a PR applicant, with no privilege to put one foot in Canadian soil.
