Subject: Can they send me back?
I am 16 and I immigrated to Canada from Russia 2 years ago, with my parents. Now they threat me that they will send me back there because I play too much videogames and other crap. I don´t believe them but sometimes I can´t even sleep knowing that possibly I might have to leave Canada. You won´t believe how much it means to me! So my question is - can they really do that somehow?

who is going to send you back? your parents or the Canadian government! Government of Canada can´t do such a thing... but your parents sure can!

If you get in serious trouble with the law... that is a great way to loose your priviledge to live in Canada.

sounds like your parents are frustrated with your behaviour and are looking for a way to smarten you up.

you may want to consider it before you get into so much trouble the government of Canada decides to do it

What do you mean? Why would government want to do that? And there is no trouble at all yet. My dad just said like if I amd not making most of being in Canada then what´s the point of being here etc etc.. I really don´t think they are gonna do it. I am just asking how would they be able to do it?

No parents like being separated from their child - they did bring you along yo Canada did they not? that means you are important to them.Looks like you have driven them beyond reason. You must do what they say as they have your best interest at heart.

story for you.

2 young immigrant boys were driving their cars down a street late at night - racing. They did it all the time - thought it was fun. Only one night one of them was not paying attention and went off the road - hitting a lady that was walking on the sidewalk. She died.

Canada sent both boys back to their home country - even though their parents cried to the judge that there was no future for their boys and they needed their help to survive in Canada.

Canada did not accept you into the country to make trouble for it´s citizens. Your parents probably worked very hard and gave up a lot to let you have a chance at a better future.

Don´t throw the opportunity a way. Your parents may have relatives back home, you are not of legal age (19) so as your legal guardians, they have every right to take you back to Russia and leave you with your relatives -

now, my question... no parent would choose to do this unless they see no other way to get some sense into their child. So instead of worrying if they can do it... better to think about what behavior you are doing that would make they so frustrated to say such things... and then change it!
