Actually, first they stamp the date, then they superglue the duct tape to the visa and staple the whole thing to the passport, creating what is also called:
"Visa AffixStapleSuperglueStamping"
..or short..
"Visa ASSS" :)
The true and real challenge is to land as a PR before all this disintegrates!
