| Subject: FBI fingerprinting |
I applied for FBI fingerprints reports in Sept 2006. Haven´t got any response from them yet. Anyone with the same condition? Any personal experiences? Please share any info regarding this.

Giri,
It took 5 months for me. I applied on August 07 and received it back on Dec 10. I contacted the FBI Customer Service over phone 304-625-5590 (Press option#3 when u hear menu) and they told me it takes more than 14 weeks for processing nowadays.
So don´t worry abt it. Call that number and they will be give you an approximate date.

mine was only 2 weeks. lucky me. I sent the cover letter telling that I have to present the cic for interview and I wrote down the expectation date on the envelope. surprised me.

I wrote a due date on the outside of the envelope as well as on an inside "cover letter" - I gave them six weeks. I had the clearance back within three weeks.
