Subject: Application rejected - what recourse?
I had applied for PR under skilled migrant category in July 2003 in Buffalo. My application was approved without an interview but in the interim I moved to UK and also had a baby. I was in communication with CIC Buffalo and was supposed to send them updated docs and some missing pieces before final decision...but recently i came to know my application had been rejected and closed.

I still dont know what was the exact reason for the rejection as the final letter was went to an older address. I am guessing its because I took too much time to reply. I am waiting for a reply from CIC.

My main question at the moment is - Can I do something now to try to get my case reopened? What options do I have for this? any help/pointer would be really appreciated.

Regards,
VD

in my past experience, once a file is closed there is no recourse. Most likely it was a timing issue and CIC assumed you were no-longer interested in the immigration process.

We were told to try again.
