Subject: Conditions for PR after Temporary
I am working in US and my company has an office in Toronto. They want to transfer me there by sponsoring my work permit. Can anyone tell what are the conditions to obtain a PR status once in Toronto. How long does it take before even being eligible to start the process?
Please, help!
Thanks

It depends on your personal circumstances. Go to www.cic.gc.ca and click on To Immigrate left side.

If you get legally admitted to Canada for one year you can submit at the Buffalo Regional Processing Centre if your not a American. If an American no time limit is required.

There are two main types Skilled Worker and Provincial Nominee Program. One is faster then the other but if you have an offer of full time employment from your current company you could try the PNP route.
