Hi Experts,
I have sponsored my mom from India and it is approved. Now I have to provide all my family details.
One of my brother´s passport is expired and he is submitted an application to renew his passport. Since its taking longer time to renew his passport.
If he provide his expired passport details in the App. Family Details form, than he can not get his police clearance certificate since his passport is expired.
Should I just wait for his renewed passport to come and than get his police clearance certificate?
NOTE - My mom´s application is approved in July 2006 i.e. already 6 months are completed and I´m unable to submit family details to Canadian Consulate in India.
Here are my questions:
Is my mom´s sponsorship would expire anytime soon?
Is there is time limit to submit all family details once your sponsored application approved?

Would like to help but I´m confused? Is your brother a dependent child to your mother, and over the age of 18, making it necessary for him to be included on the application and have a police clearance? If so, CIC will not require a current passport unless he will be be an "accompanying dependent" - so, his requiring a current passport to get a police clearance is not a CIC requirement but perhaps a requirement in the Country for which he needs the clearance? Can you give us more info about which Country is involved and hopefully someone will be able to offer more useful advice than mine. Sorry.
