Hello, I would like to know when do I receive a file number or any reply from Mississauga after I have sent my application? Will I receive it when they decide whether or not I am eligible to be a sponsor or am I supposed to receive a file number shortly after the processing centre receives it (because I know it takes about a month to hear from them, but I´m not sure if that´s the initial reply from them or should I hear from them before that?)

CPC will give you a file number when "officer takes your application in his hands in order to start processing and creates a file number". If it was just open, but not started processed yet - no file #.
