Subject: Passport Stamped: Need help with Landing
First of all I am thankful to all the members and readers for their valuable inputs and suggestions.
We received our Passports stamped from NYC few days back and planning to land in the end of Feb 2007. We applied in Feb 2005.

We have planned to go our home country, India, two days after landing. As per my knowledge we will need Re-entry Visa / permit if we do not have PR card (which obviously we will not have in 2 days).

My question is that would there be any difficulty to get re-entry visa. Are there any special requirements apart from fee?

Thanks in advance for all the help,

Sincerely,

SV

Validity (in reply to: Passport Stamped: Need help with Landing)
isn´t the PR visa issued initially valid for nine months. I thought we could travel back and forth on it up til 9 months during which we can apply for the Pr card.

You always get single entry visa and validity is one year after the date medicals are done. Normally one gets 3-4 months for entry.

My question is that can there be any difficulty to get re-entry permit.

Thanks
