Subject: sfw buffalo -AOR-aug 2005
  Hi,

I need some advice please. Here is my timeline /
Federal Skilled worker applied in Buffalo
Aor aug 2005
sept 2006 ielts requested
nov 2006 ielts sent

Now, as my case is a little bit complicated ( out of status in the us , spouse deported from us ) I was wondering if I should wait or give up . I am thinking if they didnot rejected my file from the beginning (and asked for tax return forms along with ielts test ) because of our situation there is hope but still, i need to be reassured ...

I send an email friday Jan 5,2007 and the answer i recieved today was " Please be advised that your application is in process, however we are unable to provide an exact date when a final decision will be made. "

Any help or idea would be appreciated . Thanks

Mikoman,

First, giving up right now would be stupid. Do not give up, you are much closer than you think!

Your status in the US does not matter at this point. I am out of status too and my application is also pending in Buffalo. I am not afraid, because I know that nobody cares about that.

It also doesn´t matter whether your wife was deported.

Stay here in case you are being called for an interview, but if an interview is not needed, then you will do the medicals and you can submit your wife´s passport for stamping together with yours. When you are done, you can join your wife wherever she is, then land together in Canada as permanent residents.

Good Luck!

..maybe Roy or someone else can confirm that your wife´s deportation doesn´t weigh on your application. I am not sure any more..

Mikoman,

I have a mid-2006 AOR from Buffalo, awaiting IA this summer. We are also out of status in the US, but my wife is here with me.

I am not sure if you can land separately, I would assume you and your wife would have to land at the same time, but I am not sure, never thought of that.. I am almost sure that she cannot land before you do, since you are the main applicant.

Good Luck!
