I recently got married and informed the NY (consulate where my file was transfered). They requested for my wife´s passport and other documents, however there is a mistake with the age on the passport when it was issued, my wife had never bothered to correct this and she has been using the wrong age. Its very difficult to get the PP from my home country.
Can we tell the embassy about this error by filling the correct date on IMM8 and write a letter explaining the error? How will this affect my application? Getting a new and corrected PP will be in months.
