Subject: More info re: son's possible inadmissability |

HI Roy - OK, here´s what I´ve been able to come up with so far, the closest to what seems applicable to the circumstances of his arrest:
http://lois.justice.gc.ca/en/ShowDoc/cs/C-38.8/bo-ga:l_I::bo-ga:l_II//en?page=2&isPrinting=false#codese:4-ss:_2_
"(5) Every person who contravenes subsection (1) where the subject-matter of the offence is a substance included in Schedule II in an amount that does not exceed the amount set out for that substance in Schedule VIII is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction and liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months, or to both."
Now, what I can´t do is figure out is how this dove-tails with the definitions of criminal inadmissability here: http://laws.justice.gc.ca/en/showdoc/cs/I-2.5/bo-ga:l_1-gb:l_4//en#anchorbo-ga:l_1-gb:l_4
It obviously doesn´t fall under "serious criminality", but the definitions under "criminality" don´t specify a term of punishment - so I´m back at square one. Any help you can offer, please?
Thanks
