totaly time of process, 2 year and 3 month... among average processing time in Buffalo statistics table....

Yep, this is not something finished, it´s a new stage for me....

I am still in my early 20s... therefore I still have a lot of room to grow....at least another 40 years before retire... yeah.....

folks here, lol.. they need my CPP contribution of 40 years..
that´s why I am in.. just kidding.

Yep, I came to this country when I was really young, just turn drinking age... with absolutly nothing, empty hands...
after half decade, I finally got my PR...

I am not highly educated or experience like most folks here, you guys might be engineer, doctor, what so ever, I am just a new college graduate.

I am as young as 8, 9 oclock sunshine... I am a plain paper in Canada, therefore I could draw most beautiful painting as I want here..

what the hell...

illusion young kid got visa......

good thing that you do realize there are a lot of experience and educated skilled workers here.

what´s your skill??eh?

Just smoke pot and listen to your god damn Avril Lavigne all day and night.

why Canada allows 20 years old kid to immigrate, instead , most of us here have two master degree still wait for so long... just so unfair.

To anonymous (***.25.98.57)

The way somebody spend his/her personal time is none of your business, if Departure Bay was recognized by CIC as the skilled worker, he is. If he got it, he deserves it, besides I think that one day he may consider the career of a writer, and some day we may be proud that we knew him before. :)
I understand your anger, anonymous, I remember it perfectly, but leave it somewhere else, it won?t do you any good anyway. Your reasoning is completely wrong, just calm down and wait, your time will come... For 2 family members with 2 PhDs, getting the third one, it took us 2.5 years to get PPR from Buffalo, does it mean that for you it must take twice longer because of 2 masters only? Would that be fair?

Departure Bay, congratulations again, may all your dreams come true!!!

screw you Anonymous..with this kind of attitude, you won´t get what you wanna in Canada. yep,you are doctor or engineer, you might end up driving pizza too.

i might have less education or work expericen than you.. I probably live in Canaada longer than you.. You know? Canada needs more skill, trade, young folks...

why you discrminate my age? what´s wrong with being 20s?
Young is good... it means what I could do, u can´t do..
I could go to bar and hit on hot chicks... you are probably too old to do so...lol..

u know what? take a look points? does not matter it´s 67 or 100.. result is the same, you have to wait.

honestly, it makes perfect sense. Why Canada takes so many immigrants? Because it need more people, more _young_ people, since its own population is aging very fast. And of course taking people who were educated in Canada pakes makes perfect sense, because they are already here, they already well acquainted with Canadian culture/lifestyle and it will be no problem for them to find a job, no trouble with getting their degrees accepted and so on. Sad, but true. And this does make sense. That´s skilled worker immigration program, after all;it is very pragmatic - they take whom they want.

Those who are in need for a country to accept them because they can not live in their own, there is a refugee program; Canada takes those who in need regardless of the age (I am not claiming it is 100% fair or anything).

So, good luck, DB!

To frustrated Anonymous: it is OK, your day _will_ come. I know it too well, how frustrated you can get wating for the ´yellow envelope´ (=PPR). I remember everyday checking the mail, thinking is it there or not.
