| Subject: My work exprince doesn't related to my education |

Hi everubody
First of all thanks alot about this useful website.
I am planning to apply for the skilled workers immigration application as soon as possible. But I have only one question bothering me too much because i don´t want to waste my money or my time.
I am working as a system administrator also i am certified from Microsoft but my study filed was in criminal law but i hadn´t worked as a lawyer even for one day.
The question is : will they count on my work experince in computer field or the work exerince should be only on the studying filed ??

Simply put, the work experience that counts is the one you have. Don´t bother yourself with unnecessary questions.

guys, after 2002 immigration and refugee act was changed, you do not need to have related to your education work experience, as long as it´s more than 1 year full time work experince under NOC list.. you are good to go.
My education background is different from what I am currently working in Canada, which is totally fine as long as it´s falling into NOC code.

thanks alot for replying i was asking because of the offical website www.cic.gc.ca dosen´t mention that point clearly. one last thing is there any offical telephone or e-mail belong to the canadian immigration authority to get confirmation for this.
