if you don´t have a car, you could rent a car and drive to border or just take a greyhound to the border and get off..
walk thru border by foot.
I am planning to ride my bicycle to the ferry and just ride another 15 min from Tawassen ferry terminal to Point Roberts..
I called border service 1-800...
they treat me like a "prank caller"..
"Could I ride a bicycle to land first time?"
"No joking!!! I gotta call your mom! what´s your name? don´t you have a school today?"
I almost wanna say:" Hey, do I sound like Bart Simpson?"
they said it´s ok as long as it´s Canadian Port of Entry, after 5 min explaination that I am not Bart..
"you sound way too young like a teenage!"

(in reply to: landing to skilledworker) Thanx Sk for the info!! it is really appreciated! Regarding the police certificates I thought I have to send them with my application, and I did so when I first submitted my application. You think that can speed up my application? Thanks!!
