After all the panic the last few days, I realized I may not be able to sponsor my spouse.
Will they deny me to sponsor him because of really bad credit?
Really bad being aprox 5000,-7000 accumulated when I was young (from 3 to 6 years ago. All small debts added together. I think the largest lump sum debt is aprox 1000.
I have taken a student loan out last year and completed school and I am now working. So regardless of my credit and debts the Government still issued me a student loan no problems (I start payment on that in march)
Will my application to sponsor be rejected due to my bad credit and debt?

(in reply to: Bad credit) CIC won´t be able to access your credit history, since they can´t be your credit issuer or loaner.

(in reply to: Bad credit) Unless you are officially declared as bankrupt, there should not be any problem.
