| Subject: Vienna processing time PR |

Dear discussants,
we have just recently received a letter from Vienna embassy that our application for PR will be processed in 24-36 months! During that time nothing will be done with our application as stated in the letter (AOR). How is that possible if the official time for finalizing the application is 30% 5 months, 50% 9 months and even the highest number is smaller than 24 months?? Do you have any experiences? We have applied through NEW SIMPLIFIED PROCESS. Is there some appeal process possible? We are not Austrian citizens.
