I want to apply again for PR in canada but this time my destination is edmonton Alberta....am i going to use my old File number? do you think this time i will not be refuse anymore? The reason why i was being refuse last 2003 is because i dont have enough points for language...( i did not took IELTS that time, but now i will)...Is there a chance for me now? Please help and give me some advice...your replies will be appreciated. Thanks...
Im also thinking to apply for PNP but dont have job offer...because i know it is more faster than the normal application. Any suggestions? Any agency who can help me?

Cherish,
New application means new file number. You can´t reuse the old file number.
File a new application, and this time provide whatever is necessary to succeed. We are humans, we learn from our mistakes.
File the type of application that you qualify for and where you have chances for success. Whether you pass this time or not is entirely up to you.

thanks for replying...but sometimes i feel nervous...anyway i will try again and do whatever they need for me to pass....if i fail again well then maybe canada is not meant for me. Although sometimes im thinking a lot of money again is at stake....only if can ask and look for any agency that will help me to find a job offer...thats the best, fast way to get there. Do you know any....? :)

How many points did they calculate for you last time you applied? Did they just reject your appl. or did they give you a chance to take IELTS?

hi 162.158.98..newbie,
I was been set for an interview in the embassy jan 17, 2003 and the consul told me that I got only 66 under the new law( which passmark is 67) and he gave me 68 under the old law ( passmark is 70) that is as far as i remeber.....and he told me that I lacked points in language. Yes, he advise me to take IELTS but that was to be considered i think so for a new application. thats it.

I was refused for PR under Skilled migrant worker and my destination that time is in toronto....what im saying now is i am just thinkng and considering edmonton or any place in alberta on my second application. clear?
