(in reply to: Visa collection-how long do i have to land ?) Ameet,
You can land anytime between the date when you have received your visa in your passport and its expiration date, which is probably the 1-year anniversary of your medicals.
Good Luck!

Extentions possible (in reply to: Visa collection-how long do i have to land ?) hi uniden
thanks for the speedy response...was wondering if you know...i have a good paying job and one that might be a bit dufficult to get away from in the coming months or so...does the CIC allow for extentions on the landing?...beyond the stipulated period on the visa?
thanks again!

(in reply to: Visa collection-how long do i have to land ?) Ameet,
There are no excuses and no extensions!
The rule of thumb is simple: "If you don´t use it, you lose it!". Make sure you land before your visa expires, then return to your good job. To "LAND" doesn´t mean to "SETTLE". You can land first and settle later. Landing takes just minutes.
Good Luck!
