can i authorise someone to collect my PR canada visa from hong kong embassy as i have heard that pakistani nationals banned for hong kong visa .My elder brtoher is canadian citizen so he can go there on behalf of me to collect my PR.

Dear Anonymous,
First of all Pakistani are not "Banned" for HK visa, just you need to apply and they give you the visa.
Secondly, yes, any body can collect the visa on your befh but for the procedure, you can contact with some one else.(i have one fellow in canada) if you want to get information i can help you.

I don´t know you guys... I would be very nervous having a stranger pick up my passport. Are you sure CIC would even release it? Given the value of that Canadian passport and identity... what is to say that it won´t simply disappear. I am sure there must be another way that is more secure.
