  Hi Roy,

She simply read over my package to make sure nothing was missing. In my opinion, she has nothing to do with this. She is abilitated to translate and to legalize my photocopies and was referred to me by the Cuban Consulate for my marriage paper and therefore I used her to do the same with my Imm. papers. Nothing more. She IS a professionnal notary. Thanks for watching out for me! What do YOU think about cancelling the AOR is more what I am interested to find out from you...if you don´t mind, of course.

Have a good day.

Why don´t you just let the Canadian Embassy to finish what they are supposed to do "WORK".
If you keep asking and asking all what you are doing is delaying your file.

There is NOTHING you can do at this time. Likely it will take about 1 year or two and in some point in time your husband will be call in for an interview with a Canadian Immigration Officer.
If he hasn´t misrepresent him self and doesn´t pose a danger for our health and security system, he will be approved and a visa will be issue.
As simple as that.

Stop contacting the embassy. Verify if your "Notary" is authorized to fill Immigration application on your behalf.

dear France, in some cases it can take 2 years for family reunion.

calling people ´stupid morons´ is not likely going to get you help or sympathy at this forum and if you showed the same impatience to CIC - 2 years could turn into 5.

you have no recourse here. CIC has all the power and the sooner you stop thinking you are entitled to approval, the less problems you are likely to have.

Dear Sharon,

Obviously, nor yourself or Bill here is telling me if it is unusual or not to change the AOR date. About getting sympathy on this board, it is, at this point, the last thing on my mind. I have other worries. I don´t think I am entitle to approval, YOU are putting words in my mounth. I didn´t get impatient with Visa Office in Havana, but you´re right, I have no patience wathsoever with arrogant people who can´t answer a straight forward question. It might be "as simple as that" for you guys (the Pro´s!!!) but they are holding my life in their hands. If you can´t understand that, it´s more the opposite, than this site is useless to me.

I found out late yesterday something is definately wrong with Cuban visa post. This is a stressful process especially when hearts are involved.

A client of mine has been in the process for a year and they still have not even requested a CSIS check.

What your in a panic attack about is the word "investigation" ----scary word but it could be the staff down their are being investigated.

France try to hang in there, I know it is real difficult.

If I do not get a reply to MY CLIENYS question I will yell and scream and find out what is going on down there.

Thank you for your response Roy. I am so glad that my feeling about was right: You are a caring individual. I am not surprised about the staff being under investigation and please, please keep me updated with the outcome of your investigation in Hav. office. I will contact you via your professionnal site and will wait til about July. If nothing moves, I will hire you...is it possible to do that since the file is under process, can I give you the mandate to represent me in the middle of the course of things?

God bless you for understanding my state of mind, you reconciled me with the human race.

Sincerely,

France

Just Relax France and I know it is a difficult thing to do.

I just arrived in the office and even though the radio kept saying accidents everywhere and we saw three in a short distance on the way to the office today some smart individual driving a new SUV did not slow down until he flipped over in the ditch.

I really think something is up in Havana and it may not have anything to do with your husband----- but understand we all have skeletons in our closets and mostly it is employee´s of visa posts.

Hang in there.

Weather you like it or not, it might take way more than 6 months.

You can look for hundred of reason why it shouldn´t take more than 6 months if that helps you to sleep at night.

The Embassy in Cuba could be facing lots of problems, but this situation regardless from what point of view you are looking at it, it will not make the process any faster.

Most of us are not here to give you a negative feedback or info, we share experiences. The experience could come from a personal situation or a former job.

Freaking out and offending people won´t take you too far in life.

Good luck
