hi guys , i have applied for skilled worker immigration in 2005 , late 2006 they asked me to update my working experience , or if therey is any change in family statues .i did send them updated informations. it is been in process sicne then , but i have checked my eclient thing couple of days ago it says decision made , i have been in canada as a temporary resident for more than 3 years , i do have enough points , but how could they just make desicion without asking me to go through medical exam and stuff like that , or i did my medical when i came , is it still valid ? or i will get a rejection letter pretty soon ???

If you did not get your IA then most likely your application has been refused. They cannot use your old medical as Immigration medical is more comprehensive. You can either wait till you get the official letter or you can order CAIPS to see the reason.

How many points did you claim and on what basis?

IA means initial assessment where they calculate your score and mail it to you with further instructions. If you can give some details about your application then I may be able to point out something.

Did you submit IELTS score? Sometimes that causes a problem, if the immigration officer gives us less points then we expect.

Hi,

You should order CAIPS as soon as possible. As decision made can mean some other things also such as decision to interview, to ask you to medicals, etc.e-cas is very confusing so do not trust it completely. My apologies for my earlier replies as I did not read your message carefully. I read final decision made so I replied like that.

Hope this helps!!

You can apply again. There is not limit on number of times you can apply for immigration. However, try to order CAIPS so that you can see the reason for rejection (if you have been rejected). As I said before sometimes they also update e-cas once they have made decision of other kinds too. Did you click on decision made link to see what it says?
