Hello everyonr, I hope you are all doing great!

I have a situation and I was hopping someone can help me if possible.

I recently had an interview, and it was successful (officer said I was approved). However, they asked me to provide a new FBI police certificate as the old one expired and a copy of my master´s diploma as I just graduated; all that within 60 days. And said after he receives that, they will send me passport request.

Diploma is not a problem, but "The FBI police certificate, I called FBI and they said it is taking 16 to 18 weeks!!! and cic wants that in 60 days!! interview was january 25 and sent fbi the 26th and before 60 days would mean before 25th march

What should I do, send the diploma and explain to cic about fbi is taking longer or email cic now or wait until a week before the 60 days dead line and send the diploma with a letter stating that I have not received FBI certificate yet?

I would really appreciate your help

Thanks in advance
