Get an original employment or experience letter from past and present employers.

Send copies which are notorized by notary public or a govt. official. (Stamped / Signed and Dated). Plus there is a line or two stating that that person is stating that these are attested true copies of the original.
If you can´t obtain work experience - tell CIC why, and submit your pay stubs instead. In conditions like - Maybe your old boss is sour at you for leaving and will not give you a letter...

follow up to the prev. message. what if you were paid using personal cheque since it is an unregistered company we didnt had official company pay slips... and unfortunately, iwasnt able to have any of the cheques copied before encashing it.....

though in my case the employer gave me an employment certificate but without any contact detail except for the email add of the company which is now inactive coz the company is not existing anyymore.
