Dear friends,
I am a resident in Gulf since over 4 years. Recently I received request for medicals, updated police certificate and ROLF. My questions are:
1. Do I need to submit updated police certificate only for Gulf or also my home country. During the four years, I visited home only a few times, for 4-5 days each time.
2. Do I have to pay ROLF at the time of submitting the additional documents, or I can wait until decision is made by CHC London.
3. Do all approved doctors charge same fees for medicals. What is the approx amount.

Just do what´s been requested. If you´re medical is fine, then after a couple of weeks, you´ll get PPR. We submitted Police clearances from our native country and the FBI. Call the DMP to check their fees.

You will need a clearance from any country in which you´ve resided for six months or more since turning 18. The cost for medicals varies by DMP - call around to find the one you want, and make sure you find out if you need to pay cash - we had to. Also, find out how many pictures they require you to bring. You don´t have to pay the ROLF upfront - but if you don´t, waiting for London to request it could delay your PR visa.

You just need to submit updated police certificate from gulf bcoz the validity of it is only 6 months
About ROLF, It could save your 2 to 6 months process if you pay it now otherwise if the decision is made then they will write you again to submit ROLF.
Regarding medical fee, if you r in dubai then it would cost you AED 750 to 850 including courier charges.
