Subject: Medical + Letter from Buffalo
  Hi,

I received a letter from buffalo that I should go and undergo a medical examination in October last year, and I did the medicals and Dr. sent them to Ottawa. I received a letter from Ottawa dated Dec 29th that I should do some additional tests (due to blood in urine), and I did them all within the first week of January, and confirmed with Dr. that he has sent all the results to Ottawa.
Now I received another letter from Buffalo this time, stating that they have not received any information on my medical status at all, and if I don´t undergo the medical examination within next 90 days they will close my file assuming that I am not interested any more.

anybody had similar experience?
I would appreciate if you can help me through this weird situation.

It is not a weird situation at all, it has happened before. You have two choices:
1) Track and find the information that was sent to Ottawa. Your DMP may help (or not). Don´t give up until you receive confirmation that either all is lost, or that Ottawa has received what they were supposed to receive from you.
2) if 1) fails, then redo whatever is need to be redone so your file doesn´t get closed due to "abandonment"!

Be proactive! Each day you do nothing about this situation will be deducted from the 90 days! Don´t pray for 89 days asking God that CIC miraculously finds your medical file.. Be your own God!

Thanks Uniden,

I´ve already got a confirmation letter from my doctor that I did the tests and he has sent them to Ottawa. I will email Buffalo with an image of that letter, and also the letter which Ottawa sent me.
is there anyway I can call Ottawa Immigration Medical Center and talk to somebody there?
I couldn´t find one single phone number on the web.

Here is the info you have asked for, but please know that it is a number that DMPs normally call. If you can´t succeed, kindly ask your DMP to check on the status of your medicals. Should everything fail, then redo the lost medicals, possibly with a different DMP.

To check if medls have reached Ottawa, try phone numbers# 613-941-6641, 613-941-2170.

We too, was in the same boat and the problem was with the Ottawa office. They already received our medicals but they did not encoded it in their system. So when the first 60 days was up, CIC sent us another letter stating us to do another medical.

Nwy, I sent CIC a copy of the medical receipt from the DMP. After 3 weeks, I got PPR. So, goodluck to you.

Hi all,
I just got an email from Buffalo saying that they haven´t received my medicals. I did my meds in june 2011. the member of family (who are not travelling with me) did their one at the same time back home. I am so surprised, cause I sent several emails to Buffalo, they always only replied with an automatic answer. Now I am completely lost. I have no idea of how I should react...
