Hello All,
I would like to get your opinion/advice/suggession on my situation.
I am a canadian citizen. I have applied for my parent´s immigration and the sponsor application has been approved by CIC-Missisuaga. Now we will send the papers to Singapore for checking of my parent´s papers.
Last weekend (Feb 02, 2007), I got married in USA. The bride is in USA with an F-1 visa (Student Visa). She applied for Canadian Immigration in 2005 and had her interview in Los Angeles, CA, USA and the visa officer assured her that she would get the immigration after submitting the Medical and Finger prints. She submitted her medical report and FBI finger-prints to CIC (Los Angeles office)in Jan 2007.
Now my questions are:
1. Will the bride inform CIC about her marriage?
2. If she informs CIC about the marriage, will it slow-down her immigration process?
3. Will I (the groom) inform CIC about the marriage?
4. If I inform CIC about the marriage, will it slow-down the immigration process of my parents?
5. If she has to inform CIC about the marriage, do I have to submit anything in the same package?
Please advice.
