Hi
I am Moving to vancouver next month from US would like to know what is the affordable way to move suff from here to vancouver and also would appreciate if any one could let me know how to move my car.
I heard UpS is cheap to move stuff and also is it okay to drive all the way up to vancouver .How are the customs to deal with at the border.I am new immigrant.Any tips and suggestions would be appreciated.

Ria,
Try and check with Roadway if you have that company available to you. Here in Michigan It would cost me 540.00 for 3 skids (boxed up personal belongings) (48X48 pallet) approximately 200 lbs each. It takes them 4 days to deliver to Edmonton Alberta. I´ve tried USF, North American and U-Haul, but for the price and less wear and tear on my vehicle it was much cheaper to go with a freight Carrier. It doesn´t hurt to get a quote. You can try calling this # 1-800-648-8116. I hope this might help you a little bit.

Ria, if you´re from california there´s an auto transport company that will help you with your car. Dee once told me to inquire about how much will it cost to transport the car from Orange county to Mississauga. A total of $1300 for the car and the fuel surcharge.
We plan to land by plane. But we change plan, bcoz we can save more by driving. We will drive from Cali to Buffalo.

Thanks what about the personal stuff is UPS,fedex or USPS is cheap.I am planning to drive cause in that way you can save money and take some stuff.I did called AA transport and they said it would be $970.Let me know if you have any info as to how move this stuff personal stuff as well as the car.
I am moving fron California to vancouver.
