Immican,

This certainly isn´t something I would want to see in my e-CAS status.. I´d rather see "In Process" for 2 more years than "decision made" before the medicals.

It likely means that your application has been denied. At least I haven´t heard of any application that has been approved without CIC requesting and evaluating the medical reports.

There is always a tiny chance that e-CAS shows the wrong status message. I think I have read just two-three weeks ago about a guy from India who had the very same status message in e-CAS, but when he sent an inquiry to CIC, they changed it back to "In Process", saying that the previous message was only a mistake.

You can always order the CAIPS notes and find out about the reason why an application has been denied. I would do that right now if I were you.

..or you could wait for the letter from CIC stating the same.

Do YOU have any ideas as to why your application may have been denied? Not enough points? What is your personal opinion on this issue?

Thanks Uniden;

I see no reason why the application should be denied. All documents were submitted, I´ve a clean background and I´m convince I´ve enough point.
Most people that I read their application was denied, they communicated to then once for more documents or ILETS. In my case, I´ve only receive AOR and transfer letter to Detroit. No other communications, I´m waiting to receive their letter

Very good Immican! Think and act proactively! Don´t procrastinate!

Now send a VERY SHORT email to the Detroit processing center with an inquiry into your application´s status. They will likely reply within 2-3 days.

Upon seeing CIC´s response and the CAIPS Notes, you will KNOW rather than GUESS.

Good Luck!

Keep us posted!

E-cas actually is a very poor program, cheap and poor designed.

It´s all what I have to say about that.

Some people have already landed in Canada and still saying "In Process".

Go figure.

Send a fax to the embassy that is processing your application and ask them what´s the status.
Include your mailing address, file number, date of birth and full name, phone number and fax number if applicable.
