Subject: PCC after PR application
  Hi,

1. I have sent my PR application to Bufflo on few weeks back (without PPC, but I have stated that, I have applied for PCC and will send soon after I receive them). Now I have received the PCC from High Commission of India , Ottawa. Can I send them directly to Bufflo office? Do I need to write up anything while sending the PCC? Or Should I wait till I get my application/file number?

2. One more clarification on my PCC: In my PCC they have indicated the following.

"This is certify that there is no adverse information against Mr s/o holding Indian Passport # issued on by the Regional Passport office, which would render him ineligible for grant of travel facilities, including Immigration to Canada/USA"

For me this PCC sounds like negative (as they used negative word "ineligible"). Is this the way PCC issued?

Please advice me if I need to check with High Commission of India OR

Can I send this letter to Bufflo?

Thanks in advance.

1. You should wait till you get file number to update them with pcc.
2. The pcc is fine. There is nothing negative about the language.

Thanks for your reply.

How long would it take to get the file number? (My Application has reached Bufflo on 16-Feb-2007). Any idea?

You should get it in about 2-4 weeks. Thats the usual time frame. If you want to know before that you can go to the bank from where you got the money order in about 2 weeks, they will be able to tell you whether your money order has been encashed or not.
