| Subject: FBI Clearance in just 10 days!!! |

Hey all,
Just letting you know that today I came home to find the FBI fingerprint reports in my mailbox, after having mailed them to the FBI just 10 days ago, on a Saturday!!! (02/17/07). So this timeline also includes two weekends!!! This surpasses ALL my expectations! Speed of light, my friends, speed of light!!! :)
Next to the FBI envelopes in the mailbox, there were also the State Police reports from a state in the Midwest where we lived for more than 4 years. We mailed out these requests the same day as the FBI requests for fingerprint checks. Today I know that the State Police reports aren´t actually needed when you apply for PR as a skilled worker, but I still got them, just for fun :) I will send them to CIC along with the FBI reports, let them throw the State Police reports away if they wish.
Our last FBI reports were returned in about two months.
Now you may want to ask me ..what was so special about my cover letters to the FBI and the State Police!?? NOTHING, other than me mentioning a fictitious deadline on all of them. The deadline was at the end of March :)

It has been almost a year since we filed our applications. We can almost smell the IA :)

I may stop to say "Hi!" one day for real. We plan to stay a few months in Kingston, Ontario before moving on to Alberta.

I have people congratulating me for just updating my FBI fingerprints, and I don´t even have my IA yet :) But we look forward to it. We are prepared for anything CIC may ask at IA time. The people on this and other forums taught us to be proactive, and we´re doing our best at that. IA should be any time now.. We will keep you posted, of course!

I am resident of Michigan applying for PR as skilled worker. I have received the Finger print form from my local police dept. My question is "Where to sent the coverletter, fingerprint form and Fees ($18)? "
