| Subject: ADR allowed how long now? ***PLS REPLY*** |

On February 6th I had my ADR interview, the appeal was allowed, and was told that the file would be sent back to India to begin processing my wife´s case again. The reason why my wife was rejected in the first place was they thought after her interview in Chandigarh that it was not a genuine marriage and solely entered into for the purpose of obtaining citizenship. Well at the ADR I proved them wrong, and showed them the fact this is a real marriage, including my wife´s name tattooed on my wrist in Punjabi. I don´t think many husbands have gone that far to prove it a case to be a "genuine marriage".
In any case, the e-cas system has not been updated, and I´m getting mixed answers as to how long it will take for her to now get her visa. I was also told there is a possibility her file may be denied again for another reason, even though I was approved in the first place do to "wrong in law" whatever that means.
Can anyone please share there adr appeal allowed timelines(and what happens next) and as to why a case might be denied again once an appeal has been allowed. Thank you.
